The Mux B & C are changing frequency. To continue viewing users will need to re-tune their Freeview boxes/IDTV's after the work is complete, this should be around 6am.

Analogue signals have been turned off today in East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Scarborough, the Digital TV signals were also increased.

Viewers that are already watching Freeview will be required to retune their IDTVs and Freeview boxes in order to continue watching the BBC services. More Info.

Sky has launched its new service that enables you to watch Sky Sports in your IPhone, IPad & Laptop on the move (Sky subscription reqired). More Info.
All you need to do to get started is create a Sky iD username and password if you don't have one already.

From today terrestrial TV viewers in the Essex area and parts of Suffolk will no longer be available to view analogue channels. Freeview viewers will need to perform a full retune of their set top box / IDTV. More Info.

On the 20 July at the second stage of the DSO the remaining PSB multiplexes will be launched on all of the 'Sudbury transmitter group' at their new transmission mode and high power.

From the main Sudbury transmitter, Arqiva A and Arqiva B multiplexes will launch in 8k, but all of the three commercial multiplexes will stay at their existing levels until the 27th June 2012. More Info

As of 7th July 2011 the Food Network will be available on Freeview on channel 49. The Food Network will be broadcast every evening from 6.00pm until 10.00pm.

The Sudbury Digital Switch Over (DSO) has begun. Analogue signals in certain parts in the counties of Essex & Suffolk have been switched off. Viewers will be required to re-tune their equipment to continue watching the BBC channels.
The full switch over will be completed on 20th July 2011. This switchover will allow for existing signals to be increased across other counties enabling some areas to receive Freeview that were previously unable to. More Info

From the 6th July the Sky Go service will allow existing Sky subscribers to watch Sky TV on the go, non subscribers will be able to access the service from August and will cost £15.00 per month.

The service will be a combination of Sky Player and Sky Mobile TV and can be watched using laptops, PC's, mobiles & tablet devices. Sky Go for PC will also offer a selection of VOD (Video on Demand) content.

At midnight, the existing BBC2 analogue service as well as the existing BBC digital services were turned off at the Sandy Heath transmitter along with its 3 relay stations. Nottingham
At midnight, the existing BBC2 analogue service as well as the existing BBC digital services were turned off at the Nottingham transmitter. BBC1, ITV, CH4 analogue services are still available but along with the digital services may be subject to interruptions. - More Info - digitaluk.

Once the switchover has been completed the Freeview Boxes, IDTV's etc will need to be re-tuned.
