The Trade Fair was very well attended both in terms of manufacturers and installers alike, ensuring an informative and interesting day was had by all.
Our team enjoyed speaking with all who visited our stand and your positive comments on our new price catalogue offered at the show were much appreciated.
It was also great to hear from those of you who had already received the brochure pack and had registered to our website… we’re pleased you’re happy with the results.

Our website has enjoyed a number of ‘hits’ and new client registrations throughout February. In addition to providing full solutions to your product requirements, it’s encouraging that you find the navigation very simple and the technical information section extremely useful… again thanks for all your comments received. Freeview has revamped the HD section of their website and made available a Freeview HD coverage checker. Visit freeview.co.uk/availability/main/indexhd to check availability; simply requires a users post code and house
number to predict when Freeview HD will be available to a particular region. Freeview have stated that 50% of the UK will receive HD coverage in time for the 2010 World Cup… the first HD broadcasts having already begun.

Humax has announced the launch of what is thought to be the first DTT receiver capable of receiving the new Freeview HD platform. The Humax HD-FOX T2 recently went on sale at the flagship John Lewis store in London’s
Oxford Street and will be soon be available at other UK stores. Currently awaiting trade supply details…

Sky has ceased deploying standard definition satellite receivers, replacing the standard Sky Digiboxes and Sky+ units with a single Sky+ HD receiver. There will also be the introduction of a new 1 terabyte PVR which will allow customers to store up to 240 hours of HD content, equivalent to 100 HD movies which is effectively three times the present SKY+HD capacity… also Sky’s dedicated 3D TV Channel, SKY 3D is planned to launch this April, more in
next months edition.

Freesat’s information service is now available. Visit channel 999 for news of new channels, upcoming programmes and the launch of new services like BBC iPlayer and ITV player.

The NEW Fibre Integrated Reception System (F-IRS) manufactured by Global Invacom, distributes digital satellite, terrestrial (DTT) and Radio (DAB) signals to 32 homes or buildings using single mode fibre optic cable.
